Today's Little Golden Book is Walt Disney Productions Robin Hood and the Daring Mouse from 1974. It's been a while since I have watched the Robin Hood film, and I am little woozy from the flue today, but I do not remember a mouse named Oliver in the film, and a quick look though the book Disney A to Z didn't provide any info, so I am going to guess that this book which came out a year after the original Robin Hood film, was cashing in on the name Robin Hood with a new story. If anyone has more info on this book/story, let me know.And check out that price sticker on the front of the book... just 46 cents, 2 cents less than the price printed on the book... what a deal!
