I picked up a bunch of interesting old Little Golden Books this weekend at the local thrift shop. Today, I thought I would share "The Tawny Scrawny Lion and the Clever Monkey" from 1974. This copy is the second printing from 1976.Not much to say about this one, I just love the illustrations, including this great cover illustration by Mary Carey (great name!). And... I love anything with a monkey in it!
